In the course of 2008 and 2009 the Culture Contact Point BG and Intercultura Consult developed and realised three joint capacity-building events under the title: „Culture Projects: strategic development” in the towns of Sofia and Stara Zagora. The program balanced theory and practice-based work group sessions. It attracted the attention of many colleagues. Topical examples from Bulgarian and European organisations who are leading successful projects of cooperation were used to trigger exchange of experience and ideas. Over 110 administrators, representatives of municipal culture administrations and cultural managers took part in these sessions. The foreseen result of the trainings was the creation of a solid foundation for the development of quality project proposals in the field of European culture cooperation.
