„Humans at Play: skills and knowledge“ the game industry as part of the creative ecosystem of Bulgaria

The article presents analysis of key data from Intercultura Consult's 2023 survey. It is the first European research to examine the ecosystem from both the perspectives of professionals and consumers and their dispositions, offering also the perspective of creatives working in the larger cultural and creative sector regarding basic skills and knowledge of the game industry in Bulgaria. The study provides an insight into the evidence-based policies to support the game industry in the frame of strategic efforts serving Bulgaria’s development.
